Jesse Gayle Harper, 78 of Oklahoma City, OK passed from this life Wednesday, March 9, 2016. He was born to Jesse Earl Harper and Hazel Mae Harper (Eubanks) in Bastrop, LA.
He is survived by Son, Jesse W. Harper and Wife Melissa Harper; Daughter, Kristy D. Harper; Grandchildren, Kandice Belden, Jessica Daniel, Blake Ferren and Tayler Harper; Great Grandchildren, Brianna, Conner, Mason and Briar.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers, Joseph Harper and Jerry Harper and a Daughter Kathy Harper.
Jesse proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1954 to 1962 as a gunner aboard the USS Rochester.
He spent his career as a Plumber and retired from the Louisiana State School Board in 2002.
He will be dearly missed.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Pine Grove South Cemetery in Bastrop, LA under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
