Funeral services for Mrs. Elma Dean Thomas Barham, age 85, are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Lonadier officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 30 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM service time.
Mrs. Barham, a lifelong member of Horseshoe Baptist Church, passed away Saturday, March 26.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Katherine "Kay" Barham Ouellette and husband David; son, William Thomas "Tommy" Barham III; grandchildren, Brooke Michelle Layton and fiance' Jonathan Young all of Oak Ridge, LA, Brandon Michael Layton and Meghan McNease of Sterlington, LA; great grandchildren, Connor Barham Lively, Cullen Layton Lowery, both of Oak Ridge, LA, Emma Kate Layton of Collinston, LA; siblings, Barbara Byrd, Shirley White, Herbert Thomas and wife Charlotte, all of Mer Rouge, LA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Barham is preceded in death by her husband Theodore "Brother" Barham; parents, Anthony Thomas III, Jettie Rea Thomas; and brother, M.L. Thomas.
Pallbearers will be; David Thomas, Steve Thomas, Richard Byrd, Don White, Austin Rookard and Keith Evans.
