Sister Mary Helen Frost was a breeze ...bringing in a breath of fresh air from the window. She was my mission companion and I love her. We lost contact with one another and I searched for her, only to find she had passed away. Even now, tears come to my eyes, as well as a smile on my face, thinking of her. We are all blessed to know her.

Dear Family:
Sister Frost was one of a kind LADY! She was classy, elegant, outgoing, kind hearted and loving person. She also was very devoted to her family and church. Sister Frost never met a stranger and she would make you feel like you were a part of her family. She loved the gospel and lived it to the fullest. Sister Frost lived her life as the Heavenly Father would like all of us to. I will miss your beautiful smile and kind words. Love you forever Sister Frosty!

Vivian, Diane, Jack, Adrian, and families. I just wanted to say that both Uncle Jack and Aunt Helen were so precious to me. They fill my childhood memories. They were both strong, good people. I remember so many good times when visiting your family, and when ya'll visited at our house.
I am so sorry for the pain I know you feel at having to say goodbye to Aunt Helen. But if we put our faith in Jesus Christ, he promised us a great Family Reunion. May God hold you close to Him, give you his peace, that peace that the world can't understand, may he draw you closer to Him than you've ever been, give each of you the miracles you need in your lives. Every time I drive down the Old Monroe Road in either direction, I always honk my horn at the Frost home. I can just imagine Mrs. Helen wondering which friend of the kids was making noise at that hour? I honked my horn for her and for her late adoring husband, Jack Sr., and my parents whose resting places are just across the road in Pine Grove Cemetery. What a beautiful person she was! Rest in peace, Mrs. Frost. It was an honor to know and love you.

The summer after my maternal grandmother, Bernice Fitzhugh, was widowed, she and Helen, along with two other ladies, took off cross-country on a grand road trip all the way to Nova Scotia. They were gone about 6 weeks.
Sister Frost was a dear lady. When Sharon and I got engaged, she told us she would either give us a gift or make our wedding cake. We accepted her offer to make the cake.
Helen Frost's mortal presence touched lives in a way that mattered most.
