Graveside funeral services for Mr. Marshall L. "Marcel" Potter, age 58, of Bastrop are scheduled for 10 am Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Bonita Road Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday, May 11 at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Potter, a truck driver, loved his work. He loved to fish, read, paint, and watch TV. He loved his Petey Potter. He is preceded in death by his father, Percy Potter and a grandson, Jason Alan Potter.
He is survived by his mother, Bessie Potter; daughter, Elizabeth Stroud and husband Tony; sons, Jason Potter and Brandy Woodson, Marcus Potter; sister, Gloria Reynolds and husband Terry; brothers, Richard Potter and wife Rhonda, Jerry Potter and wife Diane, Andy Potter; grandchildren, Katie Potter, Colby Stroud, Matthew Reynolds; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews..
