Obituary of Steven Wayne Woodard

Funeral services for Mr. Steven Wayne Woodard, 56, are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, June 11, 2016 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Cemetery. Mr. Woodard, a heavy equipment operator, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was a simple man that worked hard all his life. Mr. Woodard had a heart of gold. He loved his family, especially his mother and grandchildren and he always wanted Barbara by his side. Mr. Woodard also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Woodard; mother, Patsy Woodard Mardis and step-father, Gene; daughter, Mandy Chadwick and husband Lee; sons, Bo Woodard and wife Amy, Josh Montgomery and Dylan King; sister, Deborah Pierce and husband Steve; grandchildren, Chandler Woodard, Layton Woodard, Carlie Woodard, Kelsey Chadwick, Austin Chadwick and Dayton Cline; nieces, Ashley, Emily, Kayla, Megan, Cassie and nephew, Johnny. Mr. Woodard is preceded in death by his father, Gary Woodard. Pallbearers will be Lee Ivan Barthol, Donnie Barthol, Steve Pierce, Owen West, Mike Brixey and Randy Brixey. Honorary pallbearers will be Mitch West, Danny West and Allan Fuller. Visitation will be held Friday, June 10, 2016 from 5 - 7 PM at Goldens.
