Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Lou Scott White, age 93, of Melbourne, FL, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Weems officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove South Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. White, a former resident of Crossett, AR and past member of Crossett First Baptist Church for over 35 years, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 in Melbourne, FL. While living in Crossett she was very active in the church having served in the WMU and Golden Voices Choir. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl White; parents, Tullos Parker Scott and Amanda Wadley Scott; sisters, Mable Scott Proffitt, Dorothy Scott Wefelmeyer, Frances Scott Whitaker; brothers, Billy Scott, Glenn Scott and Ronnie Scott. Mrs White’s survivors include her two daughters, Sandy White Owens and husband Greg of Tempe, AZ, Cheryl White Spence and husband Jack of Melbourne Beach, FL; sister, Edna Scott Langston of Baytown, TX; two brothers, Richard Scott of Deer Park Long Island, NY, Leroy Scott of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren, Sean Owens and wife Karen, Justin Owens, Sarah Spence Saa and husband Eric, Chris Spence and wife Courtney and a great granddaughter, Katalin Owens. Serving as pallbearers are: Sean Owens, Justin Owens, Chris Spence, Eric Saa, Don Haltom and Hugh Dorminy.
