Obituary of Bealey Burress

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Bealey Burress, age 78, of Mer Rouge, LA will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Horseshoe Baptist Church (Mer Rouge) at 5 p.m. with Bro. Bob Lonadier officiating. Mr. Burress was an avid nature lover, a nurturer of young lives by example, and a member of Horseshoe Baptist Church. He always put God first in all of his endeavors. He was born in Henning, TN and owned and managed numerous businesses during his lifetime. He passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016. Mr. Burress is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sally Burress; five children, Debra Nippert and husband Bill of Oregon, Melody Eckstein of Oregon, Cameron Burress and wife Sandra of Oregon, Shelly Rasmussen and husband Tim of Washington State, Tammy Gilbert of Washington State; sister, Gwyndolyn Bruner-Armstrong and husband Gene of California; brother, Phillip Burress and wife Marcia of Washington State; fourteen grandchildren, Sandra Nippert, Lance Nippert, Summer Catron and husband Kevin, Jalyssa Burress, Autumn Harris and husband Jacob, Tenessa Lyday and husband Colby, Alex Meske, Natasha Meske, Brittany Meske, Courtney Meske, Karela Gilbert, Audriana Gilbert, Hunter Gilbert, Aragon Gilbert; eight great grandchildren and seventy seven foster children. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bealey Harleigh Burress and Essie Keistler Burress.
