Funeral services for Mrs. Ina Marvine Thomisee Crow, age 85, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday, August 6, 2016 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Campanale and Rev. Gerald Gates officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetey, Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Crow, a member of Greenacres Baptist Church for sixty plus years, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016. She loved being with family and was always busy taking care of others. Mrs. Crow enjoyed traveling and line dancing with the MCOA Group.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Osborn, John Travis Crow, both of Bastrop, William Charles Crow of Mer Rouge, Jamie Nichols of Bastrop, LA and Trudy G. Melton of Tallulah, LA; siblings, Clorice Breland, Marbeth Richmond, Bobby Lindsey, Azalea Maupin and Coonie Jenkins, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and special friends, Tennie Bowen, Martha Morgan and Dr. Carter Cox.
Mrs. Crow is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, John Travis Crow, Sr.; parents, Joseph James Thomisee and Louvina Thomisee Oswalt; child, Lynda Kaye Crow; brothers, Bill Thomisee, James Thomisee, Napoleon Thomisee, Charles Thomisee and half-sisters, Patsy Thomisee and Joy Thomisee.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 9 - 11 AM service time at Golden Funeral Home.
