I first met Tootsie in 2004 when we were planning a family reunion. She had a lot of information about our Hulse heritage. She came to the reunion and gave me a picture of my grandmother as a child that I had never seen. We had a great visit and I stayed in contact with her for a few years. Sorry but I lost touch with her and just learned of her passing. She was such a sweet lady and I know she is missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of our trips to Arkansas and visiting with you guys. Such a shame that we have lost contact over the years.
Mom and Dad are not able to make the trip anymore. They both are suffering from dementia but it hasn't gotten really severe yet. We did put Dad in the hospital Saturday night with a severe UTI and dehydration. I/we are just beginning to experience the heartache of taking care of ailing parents. Love you all and home to see you again sometime.
I don't know if you are aware that I took mom to see Aunt Toostie a couple of times after she entered the treatment center. We laughed and cried all at the same time. But I'm so glad we got to visit with her again. We knew her even if she wasn't sure who we were. God bless you!! Deb

Aunt Tootsie was a wonderful person, a good cook and loved her family. She used to make Lemon Ice Box Pies for us some Sundays when we had family lunch after church @ Mamaw's house. I will always cherish the times we all spent together @ Mamaw's.

So sorry to hear about my Aunt Tootsie. That's what we called her all of our lives.
She was a special woman. I remember all the times we sat with my dad and his sisters on Apple St. She always told me that I was just like her. I hope so.
Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
