Obituary of Bobbie Beeson

Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Beeson ,74, of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in the Bonne Idee Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. service time at Goldens. Mrs. Beeson passed away October 30, 2016 at her residence. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed working in her yard and also enjoyed feeding the birds. She was a huge Elvis fan and enjoyed listening to his music and watching his movies. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Welty and husband Bub of Mer Rouge, LA; siblings, Betty and William Adcock of Florence, Ms, Ann and John Tackett of Bastrop, LA, Terry and Mary Bridges of Starkville, MS, Katie and Charles Matheney of Bastrop, LA, Jerry Lee Bridges of Bastrop, LA, Charles and Geraldine Townsend of Oak Grove, LA, Shirley and Jerry Moore of Bastrop, LA, Benny Townsend of Bastrop, LA, Ricky Townsend of Bastrop, LA, Joe Townsend of Oak Grove, LA, Tommy Townsend of Townsend, DE, Joyce and Lynn Dobson of Epps, LA, Roy and Lorna Townsend of Pleasant Valley, IA; grandchildren, Codie Welty of Mer Rouge, LA, Anthony Welty and wife Shanna of Sterlington, LA, great grandchildren, Alexis Welty, Aaron Welty and Aibrey Welty and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Beeson is preceded in death by her husband Donnie Beeson and her parents, JB Bridges, Christell and Clifford Townsend. Serving as pallbearers are: Jerry Kester, Tristen Kester, Robert Amador, Tommy Mack Mayo, Roy McCowin and Zackary Welch.
