Funeral services for Mr. David Michael Oliver, age 65 of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, November 14, 2016 at First Assembly of God with Rev. Dusty Walker and Rev. Nelson Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 PM until 6 PM Sunday at Golden Funeral Home and from 9 AM until 10 AM Monday at First Assembly of God.
Mr. Oliver, a resident of Bastrop, LA, attended Bonne Idee Assembly in Mer Rouge, LA, and served as pastor in many churches in Louisiana and Texas.
He is survived by Rev. David H. Oliver of Bastrop; son, Clarence Lane Oliver; brother, Tim Oliver of Bastrop, LA and two grandchildren.
Mr Oliver is preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Oliver; wives, Mary Jo Harper Oliver, Mary DelRio Oliver; son, Joseph Oliver; brothers, James Phillip Oliver and Mark Steven Oliver.
Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Townsend, Clarence Lindsey, Ron Clausen, Phillip Skipper, and Linny Lindsey.
