Obituary of Lee Ashley Fortune

Funeral services for Mr. Lee Ashley Fortune are scheduled for 3 PM, Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, with Mr. Ronald Uptigrove officiating. Interment will follow at the Lick Prairie Cemetery, Crossett, AR. There will be a visitation at the church Friday, January 13, 2017, from 5 - 8 PM.
Mr. Fortune, a retired forklift operator, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at his residence at the age of forty-six. He is preceded in death by his father, Bradford Lee Fortune, Jr.; paternal grandparent, B.L. Fortune and his wife, Gladys; and maternal grandparents, William Earl and Nancy Elizabeth Pruitt.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Fortune; mother, Marie Fortune, of Wilmot, AR; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Glenda and Joe Holladay, of Monroe; daughter, Ashley Diane Fortune, of Bastrop; sons, Jason Allen Fortune and wife Caitlyn Danielle, of Swartz, Ashton Heath Fortune, Brandon Lee Fortune, and Kamron Lane “Best Friend” Fortune, all of Bastrop; grandchildren, AnnaClaire Morre Fortune, Ragan Adaleigh Fortune, and Jase River Fortune, all of Swartz; sister-in-law, Jennifer Hedger and husband Chris, of Gonzales, LA; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Lee was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, and loved his family dearly. He was a hard worker, loved to fish, loved to sing, and was a 1988 graduate of Bastrop High School, where he was the lead singer in his high school rock band.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be; Richard Pace, James Briley, Rocky Wall, Chris Deshazo, Mark Morris and Jason Fortune,Chris Hedger.
Honorary pallbearers are; Gary Mattice, Todd Mattice, David Pruitt, Brandon Fortune, Ashton Fortune and Kamron Fortune.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Lee
