Mrs Eleanor, and family;

Dearest Eleanor, had a phone call today telling me of George's passing. So sorry we are not in Bastrop anymore & want be able to be there for the service. You were always there for our family. He will truly be missed by all. His service to his country was always shown by the deeds he did for all, such as placing flags on all the vets tombs. He was always faithful to White Ave. Baptist as long as his health permitted. You & George were always special to my parents. I know that God will give you & your family peace & comfort in knowing that George is no longer suffering & now at peace in his heavenly home. Our love & prayers to the family. Dean & Ann Price.

I'm so sorry I didn't come to visit Uncle George before he passed. Life always has a way of getting in the way of things we'd like to do.
