Bill Stanford officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to services Saturday. Committal services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday in the Longtown Cemetery (Crenshaw, MS) under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mooneyhan passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bastrop, and taught Sunday School during her years there. She and B.H., her loving husband, were the happiest married couple and he adored her. Her favorite color was red because B.H. loved red. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching sports on TV. She was a fun loving and very spunky lady. Dorothy loved her church and was a Sunday School teacher at various churches for over sixty years. Her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren, were her heart, and she spoiled them with shopping trips and "money treats". She was reared in a family of faith and passed that love for the Lord on to her family as a lasting legacy. She was a true encourager and prayer warrior, praying for her family every day.
Mrs. Mooneyhan is survived by three daughters, Cathy Mitchell and husband Tim, Vicki Krebs and husband Brian, Gaye Beasley and husband Gary; son, Mike Mooneyhan and wife Debbie; sisters, Ileta Youngblood, Mae Koelz and husband John; brother, Bill Stanford and wife Margarita; fifteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren, with another on on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews..
She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, B.H. Mooneyhan; parents, William Stanford and wife Clara and Siblings, Onita, Hazel, T.J. and Marlin
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Michael Mooneyhan, Adam Beasley, Aaron Beasley, Billy Meyers, Caleb Krebs, Nathan Krebs, Jeff Meyers and Daniel Mitchell.
