Obituary of Jimmy Lester Lowery

Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Lester Lowery, age 65, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Myrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Beekman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Lowery passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his residence. He enjoyed running dogs and fishing. Mr. Lowery is survived by his wife, Gena Lowery; mother, Janie Mae Lowery; children, Leslie Jones of West Monroe, LA, Jason Lowery and wife Keri, Timmy Lowery, Amanda Crockett and husband Daniel and Casey Lachney all of Bastrop, LA; siblings, Gary Lowery, Steve Lowery, Ray Lowery and Betty Castleberry all of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Ally, Adalyn, Ashton, Cullen, Lainy, Jenna, Skeii, Ronan, Devonte and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, J.L. Lowery; grandparents and a brother, Loyd Lowery. Serving as pallbearers are: David West, Terry Lowery, Jerry Lowery, Darrin Patrick, Keith Harris and Joshua Castleberry.
