Obituary of Dorothy Louise Haltom Hall

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Louise Haltom Hall, age 88 are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette and Rev. Rayburn McLarrin officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, April 21, from 5 PM until 7 PM. Mrs. Hall was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her life centered around her family. She had a passion for cooking and much of her love was shown as her family and friends gathered around her table. She is survived by her children, Troy Wayne Hall and wife Sharon of Bastrop, LA, Aleta Hall Burns and husband Roy of Bastrop, LA, Danny Hall and wife Cheryl of Bastrop, LA, Pat Hall and wife Becky of Bastrop, LA; sister, Yvonne "Sis" Griffin of New Waverly, TX; brothers, Jim Haltom and wife Mary Jo of Cleveland, TX, Terry Haltom and wife Donna of Cleveland, TX; special friend, Sandra Harper; grandchildren, Greg Hall and wife Angel, Casey Hall and wife Holley, Courtney Devall and husband Jay, Lindsey Murry and husband Heath, Anna White and husband Justin, Ryan Hall and wife Amber; thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Mrs. Hall is preceded in death by her husband, Troy L. Hall; parents, J.R. and Lubye Haltom; twin sister, Doris Haltom Wells; brothers, J.R. Haltom, Jr. and Bob Haltom. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Hall, Casey Hall, Ryan Hall, Jay Devall, Heath Murry and Justin White.
