Obituary of James Milburn Crawford
Funeral services for Mr. James Milburn Crawford, age 73, are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Horseshoe Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Lonadier officiating. Interment will follow in Bonne Idee Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until 2 PM service time at Horseshoe Baptist Church.
Mr. Crawford passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017. “Crawford” was a retired maintenance engineer for the North American Mission Board (NAMB) in Fort Worth, Texas. His passion was searching for, preparing and reselling trash and treasures as it were.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Arant Crawford; sister, Marcene Hamilton and husband Marvin of Tyler, TX; sister and brothers-in-law, Wilma Arant, Dallas Manning and Michael Wayne Hodge; ten nieces; one nephew; and an extended family of the children and grandchildren of Elizabeth Owens.
Mr. Crawford is preceded in death by his parents, James Jefferson and Lula Mae Crawford; sisters, Maxine Fonner, Joy Charlton and domestic partner for 30 years, Elizabeth Hodge Owens.
