Obituary of Barbara Courson Arrant

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Courson Arrant, age 80, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Hackler officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM  on Friday, August 4 at Golden Funeral Home.                  .

Mrs. Arrant, a homemaker and member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017.

She is survived by her husband Michael B. Arrant, Sr.; daughter, Amy Robinson and husband Chris of Bastrop, LA; son, Michael Bruce Arrant, Jr. and wife Misty of Bastrop, LA; sister, Shirley Calhoun of Brevard, N.C.; brothers, William Courson of Crossett, AR, Jerry Courson of Pine Bluff, AR, Daryl Ray Courson, Sr. of Crossett, AR, Larry Courson of Little Rock, AR; grandchildren, Wade Robinson and wife Stormie, Corey Robinson and wife Ashley, Lily Arrant and great grandchildren, Peyton Robinson, Dawson Robinson and Tyler Robinson.

Mrs. Arrant is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Evelyn Courson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Morrison, Patrick Morrison, Brandon Morrison, Corey Robinson, Wade Robinson and Eddie Courson. Honorary pallbearers will be De Von Hayes, Daniel Uptigrove, Ed Cain and Lloyd Townsend.
