Obituary of Cathy Lynn Lester

Funeral services for Ms. Cathy Lynn Lester, age 58, are schedule for 2 PM Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Stuckey officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday from 12 PM until 2 PM service time.

Ms. Lester, a resident of Mer Rouge, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017. She was a member of Bonne Idee Assembly. Her gift in life was humor and she loved to make others laugh. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and happily sacrificed for them. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amite Hospice for their compassion and care.

She is survived by her parents, Bernice Sullivan and Walter Lester; daughter, April Sebren White; sons, Dustin Sebren and wife Ashley, Chase Elliot Sebren and wife Rachel, Cody Walker King; brothers, David Lester, Phillip Lester and wife April; grandchildren, Blake White, Micah white, Lincoln Eli Sebren, Allie Culpepper Ashton Lowery, Drake Pruitt; niece, Brooke Lester; nephews, Dillon Lester and Cayden Lester.

Ms. Lester is preceded in death by her step father, John Sullivan; grandparents, Zelma and Timmie Thames, and Willie and Gladys Lester.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Sebren, Chase Sebren, Cody King, Sammy Denova, Brian Newton and Gerald Lester.
