Obituary of Ollie Faye Turnbow Canfield
Funeral services for Mrs. Ollie Faye Turnbow Canfield, age 74, are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, from 1 PM until 2 PM service time at Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Canfield, a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church, passed away unexpectedly due to a massive heart attack Tuesday, October 17, 2017. She loved her three babies, Donna Lee, Owen and Cathy. Her hobbies included shopping, cooking, reading, putting puzzles together, playing games on the computer along with Facebook. Her favorite time of the year was Thanksgiving and Christmas as she loved family gatherings.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles Robert Canfield; children, Donna Lee Canfield Anderson and husband Lindsay of Calhoun, LA, Cathy Canfield Hays and fiancé Glenn McCoy of West Monroe, LA, Owen D. Canfield of Crossett, AR; brother, Donald Wilson and wife Louise of Bastrop, LA; Niece, Deborah Lynn Fudge and husband Ron of Bastrop, LA; Aunt Martile and Uncle J.W. Yeldell of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Robert Neal Ryder and wife Chelsea, and Luke Hays.
Mrs. Canfield is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Lee Adair.
Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Bryant, Pat Gilpatrick, Phillip Hays, Bob Hollingsworth and Robert Ryder. Honorary pallbearer will be Luke Hays.
