Obituary of Hubert R. Aulds

Funeral services for Mr. Hubert R. Aulds, age 87, are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Bonita Road Baptist Church with Bro. Barry Brister and Bro. Casey Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.

Mr. Aulds, a retired welder and member of Bonita Road Baptist Church, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017. He was a good man. He loved his family, his dogs, and his guitar. Mr. Aulds enjoyed life and being around people. One of his joys was being at the rifle range visiting with those who came to shoot.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Carolyn Sue Aulds; daughters, Debbie Hale and husband Terry, Kathy Hughes and husband Eric, Tami Brister and husband Barry; sons, Randy Aulds and wife Lynette, Todd Aulds and wife Sharon; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Mr. Aulds is preceded in death by his parents, Wes and Mattie Aulds; two brothers, four sisters, and grandchildren, Barrett Hale and Chad Aulds.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Cole Hughes, Ashton Hughes, Spencer Hughes, Zachary Brister, Jacob Brister, and Jason Hale. Peyton Aulds will be an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 12 noon - 2 PM service time at the church.
