Chris Bayless was one of my closest friends in High School, and through him, I had the privilege of knowing his father, & the Honor of having Mr. Bayless as my Scoutmaster of our Boy Scout troop all through High School. He taught us not just Scoutcraft; he also instilled in us Love of Country, Spirit of Patriotism, & Duty of Service that inspired many of us to continue that Service to Country - both In Uniform or Civilian. He held us accountable; and showed us that there was no easy path; He gave us the tools & knowledge, but made us earn every badge or rank we achieved Under his leadership was forged a Bond of Brotherhood that has bound together many of us he led, all through our adult lives.
My deepest sympathies go out to Chris, and the entire Bayless family; May you know Peace.
