My parents, Artie and "Pete" Williams were good friends with the entire Byrd family (including Barbara's in-laws), and some of my earliest memories are of being in their family grocery store. I remember when Barbara had her first baby, and we were all so happy for her and Ben. The screen door that separated the family residence from the business end of the building still creaks in my mind. As I aged, I lost contact with Barbara and Ben, but they have always been vivid in my childhood memory bank. I am so sorry for your family's loss. Barbara was a wonderful person, and I'm glad I had the privilege of knowing her.

Richard and family and Wayne and family , I was told last night about mrs Barbara . I am so sorry to hear this about my sweet friend. I moved to Winnfield and she moved away but I asked people at Horeshoe church all the time how she is doing. She was such a sweet lady and I think about her often after we both moved . I knew Barbara through our school years in Mer Rouge. In later years, her son, Richard, was a work colleague @Lig Pkg, IPCO, for a short time. I treasure those memories of Barbara and her kindness and faithfulness.
