Obituary of Ruby Ellen Chandler Courson

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Ellen Chandler Courson, age 57, are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at New Life Church of God with Revs. Joey Kennedy, John McGregor and Larry Courson officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 5 PM - 8 PM at the church.

Mrs. Courson, a retired Registered Nurse and member of New Life Church of God, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 in West Monroe, LA.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Courson;daughters, Terri Lynn Cons and husband Rafeal, Amanda Danielle White and husband Heath, Holli Ann Bell and husband Keta; son, Daniel Courson and wife Donna; sister, Jean Busby; brother, Jimmy Chandler; grandchildren, Chris Keating, Josh Keating, Tyler Keating, Elliott Courson, Sarah Goodwin, Gabby Courson, Dominic Courson, Jordan Courson; great grandchildren, Kaylee Keating, Easton Keating, Jace Keating, Miley Tubbs Goodwin and Maddox Goodwin.

Mrs. Courson is preceded in death by her father, Joe Will Chandler; mother, Minnie Olivia Chandler; brother, Joe Albert Chandler; sister, Mary Elizabeth Collins, and grandson, Gabriel Courson.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Elliott Courson, Brandon Courson, Chris Keating, Josh Keating, Tyler Keating, and Josh Goodwin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dominic Courson and Logan Fletcher.
