Obituary of Lila Moore Patton Wolfe
Funeral service for Ms. Lila Moore Patton Wolfe, 85, are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the First Presbyterian Church with Father Jim Benbrook and Rev. Ethel Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Old City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM service time at the church.
Ms. Wolfe, a retired Teacher and member of First Presbyterian Church, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 in Bastrop. She was a former member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Morehouse History Club, Morehouse Country Club and the Ladies Golf Association. She also loved to play golf, read, deer hunting, fishing and working the Polls.
She is survived by her very special life long friend, Dr. Betty Whitener of Oak Ridge, LA; brother, George Mallory Patton and wife Martha Ann Messinger, of Bastrop, LA; nieces, Joyce Hurst and husband Jerre of Bastrop, LA, Donna Defee and husband Rob of Monroe, LA; nephews, Charles Patton and wife Cathy of Monroe, LA, Robert Patton of Bastrop, LA, Clark Croswell of Augusta, GA, and dear family friends, Rev. Ethel and Leon Johnson.
Ms. Wolfe is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Patton; brother, Charles H. Patton; twin sister, Nancy Patton Croswell; infant brother, Robert Patton and infant sister, Mary Lou Patton.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Rob Defee, Jerre Hurst, Clark Croswell, Leon Johnson, Mike Barham and Charles Patton. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Patton, David Patton, Vic Patton, Patrick Defee, and Sean Sterner.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church at 310 S. Washington St., Bastrop, LA 71220.
