Obituary of Margie Capers

Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Capers, age 75, will be held at 12 PM Monday, May 14, 2018 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. William Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery.

Mrs. Capers, a homemaker, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018. Mrs. Capers loved her family and also loved fishing and being outdoors. Mrs. Capers is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Capers; daughter, Neice Capers; grandson, Steven Mitchell; brother, Orie Chandler; and parents, W.O. Chandler and Ophelia Chandler.

Mrs. Capers is survived by a daughter, Cealy Mitchell and husband Gregory of Bastrop, LA; a son, Bill Capers and wife Trenda of Haile, LA; a sister, Francis Laycock and husband Richard of Springfield, LA; a brother, Ronnie Chandler of Foley, AL; eight grandchildren, Shelby Capers, Matthew Mitchell, Cady Milliren and husband Cameron, Denise Capers, Johnathan Capers, Kevin Randall, Cody Thibodeaux, Calico Capers; and three great grandchildren, Oliver Milliren, Anilisa Farmer and Lacey Nicole Walker.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 12 PM Monday at Golden Funeral Home.
