Funeral services for Mr. Jason Thompson, age 43, of Junction City, AR, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the United Pentecostal Church of Bastrop with Rev. Dwight Fulton and Bishop, A.J. Fulton officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, May 28, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at United Pentecostal Church of Bastrop.

Mr. Thompson passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett, Arkansas. He was a member of United Pentecostal Church of Bastrop, where he served in the choir. He loved singing on the praise team and serving as sports co-ordinator at the church Youth Quake. He was currently employed in sales at Elliott Electrical Supply Company. Jason was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved sports and coaching girls softball.

He is survived by his wife, April Thompson; daughter, Savannah Thompson; son, Bryce Thompson; father, Neal Thompson and wife Faye of McCall, ID; brother, Chris Thompson and wife Jessie of Bastrop, LA; grandparents, James Goleman and wife Jean of Bastrop, LA and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Goleman, grandmother, Evon Goleman and uncle, Larry Goleman.

Serving as pallbearers are: Brandon Fitch, Kris McKoin, Jason McKoin, Sam Richard, Chris Ramer and Danny Odom.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Will Davis, Bubba Carter, Jonathan Carter, Trey Maxwell, Austin Fitch and Dakota Fitch.
