Funeral services for Mr. Doyle West, age 78, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 3 PM Sunday, June 3, 2018 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tracy Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 PM - 3 PM service time.
Mr. West, a retired painter, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018. In his earlier days, Mr. West enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his three sons, Kevin West, Darren West, Dustin West and a sister, Theresa Hudson and husband Dan, of Sterlington, LA.
Mr. West is preceded in death by his father, Charles West; mother, Beulah West; sister, Doris West Bell and brother, Gerald West.
