Obituary of Carolyn Louise Pennington Jones

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Louise Pennington Jones, age 77, of Bastrop are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, June 4, 2018 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post  officiating. Visitation will be held Monday fom 9 AM - 10 AM service time and a graveside service will follow at 4 PM in Weir Cemetery, Okolona, AR.

Mrs. Jones, a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 .

She is survived by her two sons, James Edward Jones and wife Dondi, Scotty Jones and wife Jan; grandchildren, J.D., Brandi, Josh, Jordan, Chasey, Taylor, Caroline and Kristen, six great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Carter and other extended family.

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband, James Marion Jones; children, Amanda Carol Jones, Gary Lynn Jones, Michael Wayne Jones, Linda Louise Roncal; granddaughter, Casey Eileen; parents, A.P. and Myrtle Pennington; and five siblings.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Lagniappe Health Care, formerly Summerlin Lane, Premier Hospice,  Zach Bush, Dondi Jones, Patricia Phillips for taking such good care of Mrs. Jones.
