So sad to hear about Mike passing away. He was a true LA Tech fan. I always enjoyed seeing him when we would travel to Florida to play FAU and FIU. He was always at the Lady Techster games and made it a point to find me and speak to me. We will miss him. You are in the thoughts and prayers of the LA Tech Athletics Family.

To my dear friend, Cowboy Mike. I only had the privilege of knowing you for a few months when I met you at the Eagles at karaoke. We rehearsed songs together and you would call me and ask "how does this one sound?" and you would sing to me. I adored you and I will miss you like crazy! I am sure now that you are in heaven, you can look down and finally see all of us and know how much you were loved!!! ❤❤❤

Mike is in total comfort now. I can honestly say that I have never known anyone so sweet - a man who never had a cross, bad thing to say about another person. That's extremely rare. What a smile came through those eyes. May Mike rest in peace and know he made an impression on many with his kind spirit and sweet soul. I will never forget him.

So very sad to hear of Mike’s passing. We graduated from High school the same year. Mike was such a kind gentleman and the type of person everyone enjoyed calling “friend”. I treasure my memories of him.

I was Mike's doctor for many years in Shreveport. I am deeply saddened that he left us so soon. He was a good man who always had a smile and tried to lift you up. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
