Obituary of Julia Huff Bryan
Mrs. Julia Huff Bryan passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Kitchens and her second husband, Leroy Bryan. She was also preceded by two sons, Howard Kitchens and Leslie Bryan; brother, Robert Huff; and three great grandsons, Thomas Allen Bryan, Austin Graves and Jacob Flanagan.
Mrs. Bryan is survived by her daughter, Mary Kitchens Fisher and her son, Thomas Bryan. She has thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She enjoyed painting and watching and feeding the squirrels and birds. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse in surgery at Morehouse General Hospital for many years. Mrs. Bryan was a member of Collinston First Baptist Church and loved all the members there and her Pastor very much.
A Life Celebration for Mrs. Bryan will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Collinston, LA with a time of visitation with her family from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the LA Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe, LA.
