Obituary of Mary Nell Buffington Brown

Memorial services for Mary Nell Buffington Brown will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Lagniappe Healthcare at 12:30 PM.

Mary Nell, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at the age of 80. She is survived by her husband, Earl Brown, Jr.; niece, Donna Miller; great niece, Christine Vinson; great-great niece, Bailey Bauer; and great-great nephews, Cole Duncan and Aidan Yount.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gennie Riles Bkuffington and Alvin Buffington; brothers, Ray Buffington and Richard Buffington; sisters, Mildred Madison, Lee Post and  Barbara Ann Buffington.

Mary Nell loved to listen to gospel and country music. She never missed an opportunity to enjoy live music that was performed at Lagniappe. She also enjoyed bible study, bingo, and shopping at the country store. Mary Nell never met a stranger and loved visiting with people.
