Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Kinnaird Doles are scheduled for 10 AM, Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Golden Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Allan Eppinette and Bro. Danny Babcock officiating.  Interment will follow at the Bonita Cemetery, Bonita, LA.  Mrs. Doles, a homemaker and resident of Bonita, LA, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the age of eighty-seven.  Visitation will be from 5 - 7 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Golden Funeral Home.

She was a member of Bonita Methodist Church and helped run Doles Grocery. Mrs. Doles was known for her love for making jellies, jams, preserves and banana bread. She also raised muscadines and made quilts. Mrs. Doles loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much and will be remembered for always sending them off with the saying, “I love you a bushel, a peck and a hug around the neck.” She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed dearly.

Mrs. Doles in survived by her three children, Gail Doles Babcock and husband Danny of West Monroe, LA, Kirk Doles and wife Brenda of Bastrop, LA, and Mary Doles and husband Joe Bob Wilson of Bastrop, LA; four sisters, Sara Cruce, Rachel Summerland, Faye Hunter, and Ann Austin and husband James, all of Hamburg, AR; one sister-in-law, Jane Pippens of Woodworth, LA; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; one great -great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family of friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, William Tarrant (Bill) Doles; parents, Thomas Easter and Mary Reevie Kinnaird; and three brothers, R.E. Kinnaird, Tom I Kinnaird and Larry Kinnaird.

Serving as pallbearers will be William Johnson, Corey Johnson, Jeffrey Babcock, Josh Doles, Brian Doles, Courtney Rainey, Jeremy Babcock and Tim Gray.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Cherry Ridge Skilled Nursing Facility and its nurses, CNA’s, and all others for taking such good care of their Mama. They would also like to extend their gratitude to Premier Hospice for helping at the end.   Dustin McGowan and Cindy Burlew. Mama loved you all and all the residents at Cherry Ridge.
