Obituary of Juanita Pauline McLeod

Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Pauline McLeod will be held at 2 PM Friday, November 30, 2018 at Bonita Road Baptist Church with Rev. Casey Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Bonita Road Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 PM -2 PM Friday service time at the church.

Mrs. McLeod, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the age of 82. She was born May 23, 1936 to Alton Arthur and Lillie Bell Cheek.

She is survived by her children, Peggy Reynolds and husband Jerry, Donnie McLeod and wife Debbie, Phyllis Stutts and husband Allen, all of Bastrop, LA; brother, Bobby Joe Cheek; grandchildren, Shane Reynolds and wife Brandy, Ashley McLeod, Alana Nash and husband Brad, Trevor Stutts and wife Miah, Heather Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ashton, Davin, Kayden, Cohen, Dash, Coltyn, Elizabeth, Nicholas and special niece, Martha Malloy Anderson.

Mrs. McLeod is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Donald Lee McLeod; parents, Alton Arthur and Lillie Bell Cheek; brothers, Bubba Cheek, Harry Cheek, Arthur Cheek and sisters, Sissy Porter and Helen Malloy.

Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Reynolds, Tyler Reynolds, Ashely McLeod, Brad Nash, Trevor Stutts and Allen Stutts.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lagniappe Nursing Home for the great care given to their mom during her time there.
