Sally was a bright, happy, presence in lives of all who had the privilege to know her. Children related to her like no other. Her since of humor would tickle your funny bone. She was a joy, so glad she was my brother’ soul mate. All can remember her with smiles and chuckles.

I have loved Sally Jane all most as long as Sam has, and thank God for the way she and Sam cared for my children, they taught them so much.
It was such a shock to read on FB that she was having that surgery, and more of a shock to find out she had passed. I'm so sorry I didn't make more of an effort to get down to Louisiana and visit her in person. Our phone calls were always good though. I love you Sam, and if you need me to come to Louisiana to help you in any way, I will be there...just let me know.
