Obituary of Erna Faye Graves De Ville

Funeral services for Mrs. Erna Faye Graves De Ville, age 83, will be held at 10 AM Saturday, December 8, 2018, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Kennedy, Bro. John McGregor and Bro. Kevin Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. De Ville, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018. Mrs. De Ville was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, a family lady who loved her family and grandchildren. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother who was known as "Gran". She also enjoyed her home life, gardening, sewing, and cooking, and helping in her church. Mrs. De Ville is preceded in death by her husband, Claude David De Ville, Jr.; a grandson, Patrick Lee De Ville; parents, Robert and Addie Lee Graves; sister, Robbie Lee Graves; and niece, Vicky Morris.

Mrs. De Ville is survived by her children, Allen De Ville of Bastrop, LA, Georgia De Ville of Bastrop, LA; brother, Wiley Graves and wife Willie of Sterlington, LA; grandson, Thomas Kendrick, III; and great grandchildren, Conner Denson Kendrick, Landon Cash Kendrick.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ron Scott, Ronnie Scott, Mark Morris, Mack Borden, and Kennith Raspberry.

The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 PM Friday at Golden Funeral Home.
