Obituary of Jane Davis Barr

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Jane Davis Barr, age 79, of Marion, LA, formerly of Bastrop, are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Liberty Cemetery in Linville, LA with Rev. Bruce Rux officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barr, a retired employee of International Paper Company, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018. She was a member of Graceminster Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Barr loved her grandchildren, gardening and she also liked to travel.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charlie Barr; sons, Scott Barr and fianceé Amy of Bastrop, LA, Brett Barr and wife Shelli of Garfield, AR; grandchildren, Blake Barr, Abbey Barr, Cameron Barr; great grandchildren, Chasity Barr, Chase Barr and Cayson Barr.

Mrs. Barr is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Marjorie Blake and sister, Phenita Osbon.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 225 North Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or to the charity of choice.
