Obituary of Derek Wayne Kitchens

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Derek Wayne Kitchens, age 52, are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, December 31, 2018 in Carter Cemetery with Bro. Andy Myrick officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 12 noon - 1:30 PM at Golden Funeral Home.

Mr. Kitchens, loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching wrestling and super hero movies.

He is survived by his dad, Arvell Kitchens and wife Phyllis of Universal City, TX; children, Aimee Aswell and husband Dennis of Bastrop, LA, Corey Kitchens of Collinston, LA, Beth White and husband Dean of Collinston, LA, Zach Kitchens and wife Amanda of Collinston, LA; siblings, Michael Kitchens and wife Lou of Brunswick, GA, Steve Kitchens and wife Ann of Shreveport, LA, Jay Kitchens of Collinston, LA; grandchildren, Logan Aswell, Arabella Aswell, Eli Kitchens, Adrienne Kitchens, Wyatt Kitchens and one on the way.

Mr. Kitchens is preceded in death by his mom, Betty Newcomer; grandparents, Willie Elijah and Jelvie Kitchens and Ethol Eugene and Betty Lola Wyatt.
