Mrs. Mary Thomas Pierre, age 62, of Bastrop, LA passed away January 3, 2019. A memorial service is to be announced at a later date.
Mrs. Pierre is survived by her husband of 23 years, John Moore; daughter, Elizabeth Pierre Speights; son, Anthony Elvis Pierre, Jr. and two grandchildren, Wesley Speights and Shelby Speights.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Segundo Nicholas Thomas and Mary Jean Scaglione Thomas and her grandparents; Helen Waldman Naquin and Nuncio Joseph Scaglione, Nicholas Thomas Guarezma and Concepcion Pina.
Mrs. Pierre had a joy for music. She loved to sing and play guitar. She also loved God and prayed for her family and friends daily. Her sense of humor and personality will be truly missed.
