I am so fortunate to have had Julie as a friend and classmate. I have fun memories from high school, and then when my best friend married her brother, well, she was like family. Years later, her son, Dillon, became good friends with my nephew. We re-connected when she was my mother's nurse at Lagniappe. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and her contagious smile. My sympathies to the family, especially Dillon and Ms. Lucille.
