Obituary of Allen Christopher Lynn
Funeral services for Allen Christopher Lynn are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2019, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Clelie Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Causey Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Goldens.
Allen Lynn passed from this life Friday, February 15, 2019, at the age of 45. He was a member of the Beekman United Methodist Church, part of the Southern Auto Society and was known for being a headstrong, die hard race fan. Mr. Lynn was an employee of Holt Chevrolet in Crossett, AR, where he worked as a Front End Specialist. Woodworking was one of his favorite pastimes.
Allen Lynn is survived by his fiancé, Jada Bryant of Bastrop, LA; step-children, Trevor Rogers, Halee Rogers, and Mackenzi Hansford; parents, Jerry and Lou Ann Lynn of Beekman, LA; children, Taylor Lynn, Mallory Lynn, Corbin McGhee, Richie Smith, and Catherine Thomas; brothers, Jerry “Buddy” Lynn, Jr. and William Edward Lynn; nieces, Tiffany Lynn, Erica Lynn, and Chelsie Setser; nephews, Harley Lynn, Robert Lynn; and great nephew, Mason Griffis.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, O.E. “Pete” and Ernie C. Montgomery and paternal grandparents, William R. and Dorothy Lynn.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ted Grimes, Jason Defee, Greg Letterino, Lance Rogers, Allen Williams, and Stephen Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Trevor Rogers, Harley Lynn, and Brandon Tulley.
