Bro. D.R. Mayo was a great and humble man with a huge heart and love for everyone, especially the elderly and shut-ins. He leaves behind a host of friends and a legacy of "Mayo and Friends". (Btw, he often said that I was the one who gave his entourage this name back when they were singing at all of the local nursing homes. I was proud of that honor!)
He was an encourager, a faithful child of God and a friend to God's servants.
He left a mark on this old world and will not be forgotten. See you on the other side, Bro. D. R., singing with the angels!!
