Obituary of Eva Louise Ezell
Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Louise Ezell are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2019, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Fulton and Rev. James Hawthorne officiating. Interment will be in McKnight Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 31, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Goldens.
Mrs. Ezell, a member of Bastrop United Pentecostal Church, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019, at the age of 98. She was the owner of Ezell Grocery Store for numerous years.
Mrs. Ezell is survived by her sisters, Mildred Gwin of Baytown, TX, Geneva Britton of Bastrop, LA, Laura Myers and husband Harold of West Monroe, LA, Carra Duncan of Bastrop, LA, and Elaine Sims and husband Cecil of Bonita, LA; brother, J.L. McKnight and wife Jeanette of Fairbanks, LA; sister-in-law, Frances McKnight Johnson of Star City, AR; grandchildren, Tammie Dumas of Arkansas and Elizabeth Barker of West Monroe, LA; great grandchildren, Brandon and Mikayla Marrow; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Ezell; son, James Sheldon Ezell; parents, Joseph William McKnight and Betty Nobles; brothers, Edward McKnight and Clifton McKnight and wife Tommye Jean.
