Obituary of Bernard S. Breland

Funeral services for Mr. Bernard S. Breland, age eighty-eight, are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Trinity Assembly of God Church with Bro. Kenneth Pack officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.

Mr. Breland, a retired employee of International Paper Company and member of Trinity Assembly of God, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019. He enjoyed woodworking, playing the guitar, the harmonica, and singing.

He is survived by his wife, Elois Breland; daughters, Victoria Kemper and husband Steve, Denice Fife, Kimberly Diamond, Rebecca Rose, Toni Thompson and husband Randy; sons, Allen Breland and wife Heather, Charles Breland, Michael Breland and wife Jeri, Vern Breland and wife Melissa, and Bobby Fife and wife Lena; sisters, June Anderson, Patsy Horton, Helen Holman; brother, Earl Breland; 22 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Mr. Breland is preceded in death by his mother, Merle Johnson Breland; father, Estes Monroe Breland; granddaughter, Angela Breland; brothers, Robert Breland, Sherwood Breland and sister,  Betty Sanderson.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Vern Breland, Caleb Brown, Allen Breland, Bobby Fife, Jeremy West and Daniel Fife.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 5 PM - 7 PM at the church.
