Obituary of Bobby Bartley May

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Bartley May are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Newton Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service from 11:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m at Goldens.

Mr. May, a retired Parts Salesman, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019, at the age of 63. He enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters, April Michelle May of Bastrop, LA, and Vierra Thrower and husband Terez of Fayetteville, AR; brother, Roger Mac May of Bastrop, LA; and grandchildren, J.T. Wall, Layla Wall, Aiden Thrower, and Lewis Thrower.

Mr. May is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Nellie May; and brother, Yancy May.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be B.J. Sims, Yancy C. May II, Dennis McKee, Wayne McKee, Shawn Blocker and Frank Mushinski, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are Bernard Blocker, Fred Galler, Douglas Risinger and George Galler.
