Obituary of Martha Jane Rice

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Jane Rice, age 86, are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Crossett, AR. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 1, from 1 PM until 2 PM prior to service time at Goldens.

Mrs. Rice, a faithful attendee of New Life Church, as her health permitted, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019. She loved quilting, playing bingo, fishing, gardening (especially growing watermelons).

She is survived by her daughter, Dixie Wyatt and husband Cary of Bastrop, LA; son, Johnny Ray Jacobs of Thompson Station, TN; sister, Mary Davis of Warren, AR; sister-in-law, Francis Reynolds of Griffithville, AR; grandchildren, Michael Wyatt and wife Bendy of Arlington, TX, Mitchell Wyatt and wife Jessika of Bastrop, LA, Jocelyn Hulett and husband Kendall of Kyle, TX; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jaidan, Kiarra, Skyla and Kaleb.

Mrs. Rice is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Dean Rice; parents, Orie and Vossie Reynolds; brothers, Orville, Sherry Wayne and  Dale; sisters, Velma and Rose.
        
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be, Mitchell Wyatt, Michael Wyatt, Johnny Jacobs, Cary Wyatt, Kendall Hulett, Jaidan Wyatt and Kaleb Hulett
