Obituary of Florine Stevenson

Funeral services for Mrs. Florine Stevenson, age 94, will be held at 11 AM Thursday, June 13, 2019, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Brother Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Stevenson Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 11 AM Thursday prior to service time.

Mrs. Stevenson, a homemaker and a resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time working in her yard with her flowers. Her two great granddaughters were the apple of her eye.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Stevenson; grandsons, Brandon Stevenson and wife Angie, Heath Stevenson and wife Brittney; great granddaughters, Madde and Riley Stevenson; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Stevenson is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruthie Morgan; husband, Robert Lee Stevenson, Jr.; sons, Robert Gary Stevenson, Tommy Lee Stevenson; five sisters and one brother.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Mark West, Ray Wilkerson, Ronald Boone, Sam Little, Bobby Riles and Billie Riles. Honorary pallbearers will be, Nat Little, Bro. Gayle Riles and Acie Orr.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Le Grand for taking such good care of Mrs. Stevenson.
