Obituary of John Wayne Wallace

Funeral services for Mr. John Wayne Wallace, age seventy-one, are scheduled for 2 PM, Tuesday, June 18, 2019, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM, Monday, June 17, at Golden Funeral Home.

Mr. Wallace, a member of Bonita Road Baptist Church, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019. He is a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed gardening, baseball, and just loved being outdoors.

He is survived by his sons, Ronald Wallace, and wife Melanie, Robby Wallace, and wife Tina; brother, T.W. Wallace Jr., and wife Peggy; grandchildren, Ryan Wallace, and wife Michelle, C.J. Morgan, Trevor Wallace, and wife Kristen Brooke, Bryce Wallace, Avery Wallace, and Riley Wallace; great-grandchildren, Daxton Wallace, Chloe Wallace, Emery Wallace, Jase Wallace, Jaakan Morgan, and Zaanan Morgan; special friend, Dianna Ruff.

Mr. Wallace is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Wallace; parents, Thomas Willard, Sr. and Lena Wallace; brother, William Eugene "Buddy" Wallace.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Trevor Wallace, Todd Solomon, Carson Crouch, Hunter Williamson, Ryan Wallace, Greg Musgrove, and Keith Riles. Honorary pallbearer will be Bryce Wallace.
