Obituary of Jessie Tiny May Hammonds

Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Tiny May Hammonds are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Myrick officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, June 28, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Goldens.

Mrs. Hammonds, a homemaker and resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at the age of seventy-five. She was a loving mother who enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, arranging flowers, gardening, and painting. Mrs. Hammonds also loved to hunt and fish!

She is survived by her husband, Collins Hammonds; daughters, Renee Harper and husband Ronnie, and Sherrie Fulmer and husband Frank, both of Bastrop, LA; sons, Michael Hammonds and wife Angie Robert Hammonds, and Keith “Skeet” Hammonds, both of Bastrop, LA; sister, Claudell Parker and husband Richard; brother, Byron Reynolds and wife Linda of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Kevin Harper, Chad Harper, Kateland Fulmer, Karli Fulmer, Ashley Hammonds Turkasz, Tanner Michael Hammonds, Matthew Houston Hammonds, Patrick Phillip Hammonds, Collins Ray Hammonds; and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hammonds is preceded in death by her parents, Buck Harris and Nettie Louise Reynolds; brothers, Ralph Reynolds, Gary Reynolds; and sister, Bertha Wilson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tanner Michael Hammonds, Patrick Phillip Hammonds, Collins Ray Hammonds, Kevin Harper, Matthew Houston Hammonds and Jeff Sanders.
