Melinda, sorry to hear the passing of your mother. We all know she is in a better place and at peace. Jim and Julia Boddie was at our house in Monticello having dinner on the 4th July. I asked about you from time to time keeping up with you. Jim and Julia are our dear friends.

I remember your Mom with some wonderfully kind memories. She was always so welcoming and loving. Always a smile for everyone. She worked with my Aunt Annie Domino who was also an RN. Belinda & Family, My prayers are for comfort at this time. I have so many memories of working with Virginia. She was a teacher of nursing and a friend to me. She was the last nurse I know of that dressed in white with her nurse’s cap on.

I am sorry for the loss of your mother. Mrs. Boddie was such a sweet and kind lady. It was always such a delight when she came in each week to have her hair done. Melinda, I am so glad I got to see you and talk to you about her just a couple of weeks ago. My prayer is for piece and comfort in this very difficult time. It is so hard to lose our mama no matter how long we've had them.

It saddens my heart to learn of Ms. Boddie's passing, but as we know to be absent from the body is to present with our Lord. She was a great asset to the nursing profession; someone I looked up to and admired for many years.
